Aussie pop star Sophie Monk has
slammed rumours Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden
broke off their engagement in order to date Paris Hilton.
The former couple announced their amicable split last month
after weeks of speculation and Madden has since started
romancing socialite Hilton.
In a statement Monk says, "Let me make this
as plain as possible, Benji did not

me for Paris Hilton. Benji and I did not
break up badly or anything like that. We both decided as
adults our relationship had run its course and decided to move
on. I feel no animosity toward Benji and Paris at all and am
very happy with life at the moment."
The Monk and Madden romance began 18 months
ago after they met on the set of a Good Charlotte video; the

HOLLYWOOD heirhead Paris Hilton is
determined to have the last laugh over her romance with
Sophie Monk's former fiance Benji Madden.
Hilton has gone on the record to deny her
relationship with the Good Charlotte rocker is fake, following
rumours it was all just a stunt for Ashton Kutcher's new
series Pop Fiction.
"No, it's not a hoax, we're really happy,"
Hilton told US entertainment guru Ryan Seacrest.
"I feel very safe and very secure, he's an

In the morning of 4 March 2008 I wrote a reply
in the mailing list of my former Senior High School, to my friend
Benyamin, about my former neighbor next door, the Latjuba family,
whose grand daughter is now a famous Indonesian actress Sophia Latjuba.
In the evening there was the news about
Sophie Monk wishing good luck to Paris Hilton for her relationship
with Benji Madden.
I never heard about these Sophie Monk
and Benji Madden before, but since their names appeared after my
writing about Sophia Latjuba to my old friend Benyamin, and it
was related with Paris Hilton, so I thought it must be something
important.
Then I found the photos of Paris Hilton with
Benji Madden, and the news of Sophie Monk. It was
then I found out that Sophie Monk is an Australian pop star, while
Benji Madden is from the group band Good Charlotte.
So what could be the message for me, I still
have no idea.
But to be sure of, when I mentioned the name
of Sophia Latjuba, it was to explain to my old friend Benyamin that
her grand parents were my next door neighbor, and Mr. Latjuba was
from the same province of Gorontalo like him,
and it was not a joke.
I apologize for any misunderstanding that might
appear from my mentioning Sophia Latjuba's name in my email to my old
friend Benyamin.
