With the dimming of day Ancient fires blaze the sky Dying to tiny white embers The silken embrace of wind kissed air Envelops the moonlight Trembling over the night shaded treetops Lips slowly melt together Magnetized as moth wings to flame The outside world vanishes beyond the flame Forgotten while moon rays Trace fingers over mountain scented skin And soft sighs gently escape Into the darkness from dampened lips Following ancient paths Along quivering flesh Your gentling caress sweeping All doubts from my mind sending Feathers of stardust fluttering down Dusting our evanescent embrace With a shimmering passion Known to soul touched lovers Rising upward to the moon Onwards past shooting stars Bursting into heaven with you Breaths catching as hearts entwine Floating back to alpine peaks As morning light eclipses the night And mountain breeze brings tranquil sleep
