LEAP Acrylic on canvas, 36" x 48", 1998 Burned in fire This is one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, I lost it in the house fire. The piece really grew on me after a while. I didn't like it at first, but then I started liking it more and more. |

MOTHER
II--TEARFUL APPARITION
Acrylic on canvas board, 16" x 20", 1997 $500.00 Of all my pieces, I might be the most pleased with this one. The sketch of the original idea is much different than this finished product, which is good. The piece was allowed to breathe and be organic. I kept toying with the idea of "crying a river of tears" and turning that into a waterfall of tears. The more I looked at it, the more the face looked like Mother Mary, and the waterfall started to become an image of a person (or spirit). If you look closely, though, the Mary face has some ape-like qualities to it, too--a confrontation of evolution and creation. |

DREAMSCAPE Acrylic on illustration board, 16" x 20", 1997 Burned in fire One of my favorite pieces, this one obviously has a great deal of Dali influence in it. Originally meant to be a surreal landscape, it evolved into a surreal landscape of a woman's body! Unfortunately, it was one of the main victims of the house fire. Not a trace remains. |

EYE--Head
Study, Part III
Acrylic on paper, 6" x 8",2000 $100.00 This one I especially like. Has a sort of Japanese painting look to it. |
