It was monday morning, the sun streamed in through the window, illuminating the two lovers lying together in a tangle of limbs and sheets. *BEEP BEEP BEEP* Went Clark's alarm clock telling them it was time to get up and get ready for school. Across the hall Lana's alarms clock sounded as well. Lana groaned and rolled over to turn off the insistent beep. Then she rolled back to her boyfriend and nudged him. "Clark. Time to get up." When he didn't wake up she leaned over him and kissed him. Gradually Clark came back to consciousness, and greeted with the lovely feel of Lana's lips against his. He started to kiss her back, but she pulled away too soon for it to go anywhere. "It wasn't a dream." he said half to himself. Lana smiled radiantly at him. "Nope. It sure seemed like one, though." she reached over the side of the bed and pulled on her shirt. "Last night was amazing, Clark." she told him. "Yeah. It was." he agreed. They kissed again. When he started to get gropey she pulled away. "No way, you horny devil. We have to get to school." she said, patting him on the stomach before getting out of bed. She felt slightly sore from the wonderful night she shared with Clark, it was all worth it. Clark watched her get dressed and slip out of his room, blowing him a kiss on her way out. He lost himself in his memories of last night, but was jolted out of them when Martha popped her head into his room. "Clark, time to get ready for school. You don't want to miss the bus." she said then left him to his privacy. He sighed heavily and got up and looked out the window. He watched his mom leave for work and his dad go out into the field. Then he heard the shower start. He grinned mischieviously. ~*~*~*~*~ Lana set the clothes she was gonna wear that day on the bathroom counter and started up the shower. She stripped and stepped under the nice warm water. She just stood under the spray, lost in thought. She just had sex last night. It had been wonderful. She smiled to herself and picked up the soap. She didn't hear Clark sneak in and step into the shower behind her. She didn't even notice him until he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck. "Good morning." he said, taking the soap from her and lathering his hands. Lana still felt sore and she was scared that he wanted to make love again. But he just lathered his hands and began to wash her. "Very good morning." she answered, happily letting his soapy hands wash sleep from her body. She swore that he had magickal hands. They could save her, they could pleasure her, and they could turn her to mush. After he had washed her completely, he started on her hair. She turned to him and let his wash and rinse her long, raven color hair with his careful hands. His hands could be so many things. When he was done she returned the favor, He had to lift her up a bit so she could wash his hair, which she was perfectly fine with. That done, Clark turned off the water and grabbed two towels. They both could definitely get used to this every morning. ~*~*~*~*~ Clark waited downstairs as Lana finished doing her make up. He was making eggs for breakfast and toasted some bread with his eyes. When she came down the stairs he caught sight of her, all dressed and ready for school, he couldn't take his eyes off her. "You look beautiful." he complimented her. She smiled. "You don't look too bad yourself." she returned the compliment. "What's for breakfast, chef?" she asked lightheartedly. She felt so giddy and there was a certain glow about her, sitting at the small wooden table. "My famous eggs and toast, which smell incredible if I do say so myself." he said, putting a plate of eggs and two pieces of toast on the table in frongt of her. "Thank you. I'm starving." she said, picking up the fork beside her plate and began eating. Clark joined her with his plate of food. "Very good eggs, Clark." she told him. "Thanks." he replied. After breakfast her and Clark walked hand in hand down to the bus stop. They chatted easily about nothing really. There was a new closeness between them and they both felt it. It was like they were connected in some way. They waited at the bus stop together, Clark holding her from behind. "I spy with my little eye something that is blue." she said. They had been playing this game the whole time they had been waiting. "Um. The sky?" he asked, he only said it to make her giggle. And she did giggle. "nope." she answered. "three more guesses." "And then what?" he asked playfully. "Then you have to kiss me." she replied, looking over her shoulder at him. "oh no." he said in mock hopelessness. "I guess I better try harder. Is it a polar bear?" he asked, joking around. She shook her head. "Nope, close though." she teased. "It's a blue polar bear." he said with joking confidence. He knew what she was looking at, it was a blue bird, but he wanted to kiss her. "Nope. Getting warmer." she told him, not minding that he wasn't playing the game right. "I know. It's a blue african polar bear." he said, completely making up a new species of bear just for the fun of it. Lana turned in his arms. "No more guesses left. I guess you're gonna have to kiss me." she said. "Damn, I was sure I got it right." he said before their lips touched. He smiled against her mouth as they kissed sweetly at the bus stop. They didn't even notice the noisy school bus roll to a stop in front of them. *HONK* *HONK* The bus driver got their attention. They separated and blushed at all the kids watching them. They got on the bus and chose an empty seat near the back. Lana sat down in the window seat and Clark sat beside her. She scooted closer and put her her leg over his. She grinned flirtaciously at him, he grinned back at her and put his other hand, the one that wasn't holding Lana's, on her thigh. He shyly looked around at all the kids that were glancing at them trying to act like they didn't notice and the two grade 8 girls sitting in front of them were giggling. One of the turned around to face them. "Hi. I'm Cara." she introduced herself. Clark moved his hand to Lana's knee because this girl was young and he was still the same shy Clark Kent. "Hi, Cara. I'm Clark and this is my girlfriend Lana." he introduced them both. "Hi." Lana greeted the girl, she looked younger for grade 8. "What can we do for you?" she asked. "Are you married?" Cara asked. Clark and Lana let out a little laugh. "No, we're dating." Cara nodded. "You're gonna get married one day." the girl told them. "I know that because I can see the future." she smiled, proud of herself. "Cara." the other girl in the seat said. "Will you leave them alone. You're not supposed to tell people what you see." she pulled Cara back to sit down facing front. Lana looked up at Clark. "Married huh? Is there something else your keepin for me?" she teased. This girl was cute. She seemed like a really nice kid. "Yes. I bought a ring and I'm proposing to you tonight, I'm really nervous about it." he played along. "Well, if it helps at all I'm gonna say yes." she said. Then Clark sobered and looked into her eyes. "I could never say no to you, Clark." she said. Clark touched her face and kissed her briefly. "I know. I do promise that I will marry you one day. But let's finish school first." he said. "Agreed." she said, looking into his deep eyes for a few beats, then resting her head on his shoulder. In front of them Cara saw Clark and Lana's whole life like a movie in fast foreward. She smiled happily. It was like a fairy tale. ~*~*~*~*~ Clark dropped Lana off at her first class before he went to his. Pete was sitting in the usual desk, and had saved a seat for him. "Hey man. How was you weekend." Pete asked as Clark sat down. "It was good." Clark replied with a secretive smile. Pete looked at his suspiciously. "Wait how good?" "Really good." he said crytically. "You and Lana have fun?" he asked. "You must have because I saw Lana with you and you two got a glowing thing happening today." he told him. "We had fun this weekend. I told her about my abilities and she understands. She told me she loves me." he said with a happy smile. Pete shrugged. "I could have told you she loves you months ago." he said. Clark just chuckled and opened his books. ~*~*~*~*~ At lunch time Clark sat with Pete and Lana on at picnic table outside. It was a beautiful day and they didn't want to eat in the cafeteria. "It's not the same at school without Chloe." Lana stated. "Yeah. I miss her too." Pete said. Pete had a thing for Chloe since she moved here, but now she was living in Metropolis and he wouldn't see her until spring break. "Me too. But she's probably back with her old friends and is happy there. So I'm happy for her." Clark said. "That's a good way to look at it Clark. We have reasons to be happy too." she said, taking his hand and lacing her fingers with his. Pete watched the two love birds. They had each other but Pete didn't have anybody. He smiled to hide the hurt inside him. He wanted someone to love too. Just then a girl that looked about 16 came up to the table. "Hey. I was just wondering if I could sit with you." Pete looked up and saw the pretty face of the new girl everyone was talking about. "Sure you can." "Yeah. We're friendly people." Lana said, popping out of her Clark- world for a moment to say something before going right back into Clark-world. Clark nodded absently. "What's your name?" he asked. Lana let go of his hand to pick up her can of _Coke_, so Clark wrapped his arm around her waist. "Lois. Lois Lane." she answered. What a hunk, Lois thought. She sat down next to the nice dark skin boy and reached out to shake Clarks hand. Clark took her hand and shook. Lana watched, and couldn't help the feeling of jealously creeping up on her. "Hi. I'm Lana. Clark's girlfriend." she told the new girl, emphasizing the word 'girlfriend'. Lois nodded. "I thought as much." she said. "How long have you been together?" she asked, taking out her lunch. "A week." Lana answered, putting a possesive arm around her boyfriend. Clark nodded. "Yep. But we've been friends since we were four." he said. "Where are you from?" he asked. "Metrolopis. My parents moved me here to get away from the polution of the city. I have bad lungs." she confided. Clark nodded in understanded. He knew that Lana was getting a bit agitated by the way Lois was looking at him so he placed a loving kiss to her temple. "Do you want to go work on that story for the school paper?" he asked her. Lana smiled at him, relieved to get him away from Lois. "Yeah. Excuse us." she said to Lois and Pete. "Nice meeting you, Lois. See you again soon." she said, then adding 'I sure hope you stay away from Clark if you know what's good for you'. With that her and Clark left Pete and Lois alone. Lois Lane just smiled after them. Lana didn't stand a chance against her. She would have Clark eating out of the palm of her hand within a week. ~*~*~*~*~ "Lana, don't be ridiculous. I love you. I don't have any attraction to Lois." he promised her, taking her into his arms. He knew it was the new girl that had been bugging Lana. After much prying and some sweet talk, Clark finally got it out of her. "I know. I love you too. But that girl was eying you up like you were a cut of meat." Lana said. "Shh. She's just a girl. You're the woman I love. Nothing will ever take you away from me. I waited too long for you." he said sincerely. She tried to stay mad but that statement made her cave. "Thank you Clark. You always know what to say." she said putting her arms around him and resting her head on his chest. She sighed happily. This was the life. ~*~*~*~*~ Part Eight Clark walked in the door alone. Lana was working at the Talon that afternoon and he had some choirs on the farm to finish up. This would actually be the most time they'd spent apart since she moved in with his family. He had some homework as well to finish. "Clark." his mother said gravely from the kitchen. "What is it mom?" He asked walking into the kitchen. His mother was standing at the island in the middle of the small country style kitchen. She wordlessly held up the pair of black thong panties. "I found these in your room." she told him, then placed them on the table. "You've got some explaining to do young man." she demanded. "Mom. Please don't over react." Clark pleaded. "It's not what you think." he lied, it was exactly what she thought. "Clark. Please. Don't insult my intelligence. I heard Lana go into your room last night." she told him. Clark looked down at the floor, embarrassed. Martha instantly felt remorse. "I'm just concerned about what you're getting yourself into. After sex things get complicated. It's a very serious commitment. Plus, when they break up the friendship is pretty much destroyed." his mother lectured. Clark clenched his jaw. "I love her." he said though his teeth. Martha nodded. "I know you do. I'm just asking you to be careful. You're lucky I didn't show this to your father. He would have been a little less understanding." she said. "Mom. I know you're upset with me, but me and Lana have been in love for a long time we just haven't been a couple, but we are now and we're falling deeper in love with each other the more time we spend together." he told his mother. Martha was silent. She was very upset. Her little boy was growing up. "Did you use protection?" she asked bluntly. "Yes." Clark lied. He could feel his face go white. They hadn't used protection. He was from another planet, but he didn't know what his genetic make up was. "I'm going upstairs to work on my homework. Trust me, mom. I would never do anything to hurt Lana." "I trust you, Clark." she told her son with motherly love in her voice. "I won't tell your father about this." she promised. "Thanks mom." he said, truly grateful. If Johnathan ever found out that he slept with Lana, she would be outta the house before he could blink once. With that thought he left his mom and went up the stairs to him room. Martha watched her son go. She knew she should be furious with him for sneaking around behind her back. She knew she should be suggesting that Lana move out. But on the other hand Clark was 16. Most boys that his age have had sex at least once. A very small percentage of them, however, had a strong and steady relationship with the girl, and was deeply in love with her. So she considered herself lucky. ~*~*~*~*~ Lana was just wiping down the tables and putting up the chairs when Lex walked in the door. She jumped. "Lex you scared me." she gasped. "Sorry. I just came by to get the profit rating." he told her. "Of course. Hang on I'll get it." she said, hurrying behind the courter and searching through a folder for the envelope Lex was asking for. Lex walked up to the counter. "A little birdy told be the other day that you and Clark are an item now." he said, making conversation. She handed him the envelope. "Yeah we are." she said with a radiant smile. "Since a week ago. Who told you?" "Chloe. She stopped by my mansion before she left to say goodbye." Lex replied. Lana nodded sadly. "If it's any consolation, she said you and Clark look great together." he told her. Lana smiled and nodded. "I can't believe I went for so long without seeing how wonderful he really was. I always had feelings for him and an inkling that he felt the same, but I never knew those feelings were this strong." she confided. "Clark is a good guy. He used to come to me for advice, and I always told him to go for it, but he held back. He was always thinking of you, he never thought selfishly about you." Lex told her. "Just thought you would like to know." "Thanks." Lana said. "Speaking of Clark, I have to get going. We're going out for dinner tonight." she grabbed her coat and keys. "Do you have a ride?" he asked. "Yeah. My car is just outside." she replied. "Thank for the offer." "Anytime." They both walked out of the Talon together, Lana locked up behind them. "I'll see you around." she said, getting into her car. Lex just nodded. He watched her drive off down the street. Good for you, Clark, he thought to himself. Then got into his own car and drove home. ~*~*~*~*~ The next day, Clark was working in the Torch office. After Chloe left, he had taken over her duties of running the school paper. He was supposed to be in English class, but since the paper was associated with English, his teacher allowed him 30 minutes of the class to work on the latest articles. "Hey sexy." came a sultry voice from the door, Clark snapped his gaze toward it. Lois. "Whatcha doin?" she asked, sauntering toward him and taking a seat on the edge of the desk. "Working on an article for the school paper." he told her. He knew Lois was trying to seduce him, but he refused to play her game. He was in love with another more beautiful and amazing girl. "Where's you're cute little girlfriend?" she asked, leaning over slightly to give Clark an eyeful of her cleavage. Clark kept his eyes on the computer screen and didn't so much as glance at the view she was so blatantly exposing. "She's in class." he answered. "But she's supposed to stop by soon to help me with the layout, so I suggest you leave." Lois plastered an innocent look on her face. "Why? Doesn't sweet little friggit Lana like me?" she asked, leaning close to him as if to kiss him. Clark rolled his eyes and shot out of his seat. He walked around the desk to rifle though some papers on another table. "Lois, I know what you're trying to do." he accused. "Who me?" she walked up behind him. He turned to face her. "What ever could you mean?" she asked with unconvincing innocence. Clark moved around her. "Just leave, Lois." he ordered her. Lana heard the whole conversation from outside. She had enough of this boyfriend stealing bitch. So she marched right into the newspaper office and right up to Clark, planting a deep, passionate kiss right on his lips, completely ignoring Lois the shell shocked, who looking on in disgust. They kissed for a few seconds before Lana pulled away and pretended to notice Lois for the first time. "Oh hey, Lois. What are you doing here?" she asked with bitter sweetness. "Get a room." Lois spat the stormed out. Lana watched her go then turned back to her boyfriend. "I told you she was after you." she said. "You were right. I don't think she realizes that I love you. She was trying to seduce me." he told her. "I know. I heard everything. She's a little hussy." Lana said. Clark chuckled at her choice of word to describe the new girl. "I agree." he replied before pulling her closer and kissing her again. he knew with Lois after him that things would get a bit rocky up ahead, but for now he just wanted to enjoy being with Lana and cut out all thoughts of Lois Lane. ~*~*~*~*~ Lois looked at herself in the mirror. What did he see in that tiny asian looking girl? All she was was cuteness and sweetness. It was revolting. "I will have you, Clark. Mark my words, Lana is going down." then she reached into her pursh pulled out a red meteor rock, laughing almost inhumanly. ~*~*~*~*~ Part Nine (NC-17) It been a week and there had been no more attempts by Lois to steal Clark from her, so Lana was beginning to calm on the subject. She happily chatted with Chloe on the phone up in her room at the Kent's farm house. She was lying on her stomach on her boyfriends comfy bed as he contentedly traced the small tatoo she had on the small of her back with his finger. The tattoo was fairly new and it still had the redness around it, Lana said his touch made it sting less. He was more than happy to continue making it sting less. He thought the new addition made her look sexier, which he told her on many occasions, not that she wasn't sexy enough to him before. "Yeah, it's been great. How's your new job going?" Lana asked her friend on the other end of the line. She was quite enjoying just hanging out and chilling out with her friends, even thought one was living in a different city and other was her boyfriend. Clark heard Chloe's reponse. "I'm in the mailroom at The Daily Planet, but it's a start." Clark couldn't help but smile. "That's good. You'll be the number one editer on no time, you'll see." Lana encouraged her friend. "Yeah. When the rain turns green and Clark flies." Chloe said sarcastically. Lana was about to respond to that when... "Clark, Lana! Supper time!" Mrs. Kent called from downstairs. "I'll call you back in a few days. It's time for me and Clark to go eat dinner." Lana said. "Alright, Lana. Talk to you later." they hung up. Clark placed a soothing kiss on Lana's tatoo before getting up. "So whats new with our Daily Planet employee?" he asked his girlfriend. "She's seen all her old friends and even met someone. She's happy there, says she misses us." she replied, taking his hand they walked down the stairs to join his parents for dinner. "I'm glad she's happy." he said sincerely. ~*~*~*~*~ The next morning was a Non-Instructional Day and Clark and Lana had the day off. Lana was busy in the kitchen with Martha and Clark was out in the field with Johnathan. "I understand that you and Clark have been getting closer." Martha said, attempting to stike up a conversation while serving the duel purpose of having a disscussion about the status of their relationship. Lana smiled radiantly. "Yeah we are. I hope that's not a problem." she said, not that it would have changed anything, she would have stayed with Clark no matter what. "No it's fine. Clark has told you about his abilities, right?" she asked, drying and putting away dishes. They hadn't discussed the topic as a family yet. Lana moved to help. "Yeah. He told me that night in the caves." she replied, drying some cutlery and placing them in their spots. Martha nodded. "What all did he tell you?" putting some bowls away in their proper places. Lana put away a plate she had finished drying. "He told me about this strength, and his eyes, and that he has super speed. I know there's more for him to tell me, but I can wait." she replied. Martha got that concerned mother look on her face. "I love you son very much. I love him enough to give him time between romantic confessions." she told her boyfriend's mother. "I'm glad that Clark has you in his life." Martha told her. Lana hugged her. "Me too." "Thanks for your help Lana. Now go get my son, he's been working all morning." she said, sending Lana off into the yard. Martha watched her practically skip up to her son and embrace him warmly, kissing hello. They reminded her of her own relationship with her husband. She has happy for her son, he found someone he could love who accepted him no matter what. She just hoped their love would last the next bombshell Clark had for his girlfriend. ~*~*~*~*~ Lana walked up the stairs of the loft. "Hey." she said when she spotted her lover gazing through his telescope. She walked up to him, concerned. He took and hand. "Look." he said, then moved out of the way to give her room. She gave him a weird look and put her eye to the lens of the telescope. "It's Venus." he told her. Lana smiled. "Wow. It's beautiful." she said, then looked up at him. "You left so suddenly after dinner. I was worried about you." she told him, moving closer in an invitation to touch her. Clark was never one to turn down an invite, he slid his hands around her waist. "I needed to think." he said. She nodded, there was something that was bothering him. "Lana, I need to show you something." he took her hand and led her out of the barn and into the storm cellar. He moved away from her and threw off the tarp covering his spaceship. Lana gasped. "On the day of the meteor shower, I came to earth in this." he confessed. "I was going to tell you that night I told you about my abilities, but I was so afraid that I would lose you. It can't be put off any longer though." Lana stared, she knew he had something else to tell her, but she didn't know it was this extreme. She was speechless staring at the metal aircraft then turned to gaze to him. "How could you not tell me about this?" she asked, her eyes wide and filling with tears. "I'm sorry, Lana. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to. But I didn't want to find out on your own or from someone else other than me." he told her. When she didn't say anything he hung his head, certain that this was it, she would be gone forever. But when he looked back up she was standing right in front of him. "Lana..." he started, but trailed off. Lana looked up into those big loving eyes she adored so much, she knew what she had do to. "I was just telling your mom this afternoon how much I love you, that I love you enough to give you time to tell me everything. I meant it then... and I still believe it now. As long as you being from another planet doesn't effect how much you can love me, then I'm peachy." she told him seriously. It took Clark a second to register what she had just told him. She wasn't mad. SHE WASN'T MAD!!! Clark couldn't contain his shining smile and the deep belly laugh that erupted from his throat. He scooped her up and swung her around, both laughing cheerfully. When he put her back on the ground his eyes were wet with tears of happiness. "I love you so much, Lana." he professed, stroking her smoothe face. "Dito." she said, rising to her tippy toes to join with him in and deep, passionate kiss. ~*~*~*~*~ "That's it? She's was completely cool with it?" Pete exclaimed as he shot the ball toward the hoop nail to the side of the barn. "Yeah. She just told me she loved me and basically said that she would never leave me no matter what." he said as he caught the rebound and dribbled out of shoot. Pete caught the ball as it went though the hoop. "Sounds like you got yourself one winner of the girl." he told his best friend as he took his shot. "Yes!" he exclaimed in triumpt as the ball went through the net. "Yeah. She's perfect for me." Clark replied. "I knew it!" Lana said as she rounded the corner of the barn and joined the boys on the makeshift basketball court. "There's another woman." she teased. Clark chuckled and moved to embrace his girlfriend. "You caught me." he played along, leaning in for a passionate hello kiss. "Hey hey. Enough with the PDA's. I'm 16 and I'm so young to watch you two." Pete joked. Clark and Lana broke their kiss. "Me and Pete were just shooting some hoops. Wanna join us?" he asked her. "Yeah Lana, let's see what you got." Pete agreed throwing her the basketball. Lana caught it easily. "Alright." she said. She dribbled the ball up to the line they had drawn in the dirt. She aimed the ball and shot it at the net. Clark and Pete watched in awe as it sail through the air to plunk right through the net. "And the crowd goes wild." Clark cheered, running to pick up his girlfriend and spun her around a few time. Pete watched the love sick couple, smile and making googly eyes. He shook his head at the sickening sweetness. "Beginner's luck." he called. She just laughed. "Probably." looking up at Clark. Pete understood what that meant. They wanted to be alone. They wanted to be alone more and more lately. "Alright. I guess I should get going. See ya at school Clark." he said, then took off to his truck and drove away. "He sure left in a hurry." Lana observed. "Yeah. That was strange. But..." he pulled her close and kissed her. "good for us." She returned the kiss, smiling against his soft lips. She liked the fact that her boyfriend wasn't normal, there would never be another Clark Kent. ~*~*~*~*~ Martha and Johnathan were just getting ready to leave. "Now you two be good while we're out." Martha told them sternly. She was a bit wary about leaving them alone together. Clark held the door open for them. "Don't worry. We'll just watch movies and chill out." he told them, ushering them out onto the porch. "Remember that you have to clean the kitchen." Johnathan reminded him. "We'll be back tomorrow morning." they were heading to Metrolpolis to have a nice dinner for their anniversary. Lex offered to pay. They accepted, with a little encouragement from Clark and Lana. "I remember, Dad. See you tomorrow." he said, waving them off. They drove off to the field where they were getting picked up by the chopper. Clark smiled like a giddy boy on Christmas morning. Alone with Lana all night. She quickly got back in the house where Lana was making hot chocolate. He came up behind her and put his arm around her slight waist, tilting his head to kiss the side of her smoothe neck. "We're all alone now. What do you wanna do?" he purred into her ear. Lana shivered with excitement. She would have taken him up on his offer right away, but she had been dying to see Sweet Home Alabama since for ever. She poured the hot water into each mug and stirred the chocolate into them. Then turned around to wrap her arms around his neck. "I would love nothing more than to spend the entire night in your arms, but... I really wanna see that movie we got." she told him. She waited for him to get ticked off. But he didn't. "I know. This is just a preview for later." he said in that sexy voice. Lana shivered again. How did he always know how to push her buttons. Her thoughs were cut off when he bent his head and kissed her hard. Lana thrilled at the carnal feeling that was induced by his passionate and deep kiss. He started to lean her back against the counter, but the mugs got in the way. There's the brakes. Lana thought. "Movie." she reminded him as the kiss broke. "Right." Clark replied, breathless and arroused. Lana reluctantly slipped out of his tender embrace and grabbed the movie. "Can you get the hot chocolate?" she asked from the living room. Clark took a deep breath and picked up the steaming hot mugs with his bare hands. "Watch out its..." she looked and saw him with the hot mugs, he wasn't even flinching. She smiled, "hot." her face flushed at how that sounded. "That's another thing." he told her. "I don't feel it." "Cool. You are just full of surprises." she said, popping the movie into the player. He handed her a mug and they both sat down on the comfy sofa. "Is this a chick flick?" he asked, putting his arm around her and delighting when she snuggled up to him. "Yeah." she replied as the movie started. Clark knew he was in for a long night. Lana was in tears by the time the movie was over. She clutched his shirt as the two main actors played out the touching scene. Clark just watched in awe, that was how he felt about Lana. He had bought a beatiful promise ring one day while Lana was working at The Talon... it was time to make his promise of a life with Lana official. Lana turned off the tv and straddled him and planting a full kiss on his open mouth. "So, how about I take you up on that offer, lover." she whispered against his lips. ~*~*~*~*~ They burst through the door of her bedroom, clothes flying off, the love sick teenagers toppled over onto her bed. When they finished stripping each other, Lana pinned him on his back. She reached down and stroked his length before lowering her hot body onto his. She hissed in pleasure as his massive girth stretched her to her limits. Clark's eyes rolled back in his head, his eyes tightly closed. This first time they made love had happened by chance, but this one was more planned. It was exhilerating that Lana wanted him as much as he wanted her. Lana dug her nails into his chest as she sank all the way down, his erection going deeper than it had the first time, touching different area inside her. "OOOOHHHH...Clark." she breathed. He watched her as she just sat still on him, not making any move at all. He slowly sat up and took one of her diamond hard nipples into his wet mouth. She gasped loudly as the movement caused him to shift inside her. She clutched his head and began to move up and down, riding him at an easy, unhurried pace. She threw her head back, indulging in all the sensations that coursed through her in huge bursts of energy. The first time there had been pain, but this time all there was to feel was reckless pleasure. And they could be as loud as they wanted. She gripped his shoulders as he kissed his way up her chest, neck, face to settle on his lips. He caressed her cute back and ran his a hand through her tousled hair, letting his emotions take over. His control slipped completely, his mind shut down, but by some strange miracle and his nature to keep her safe, his abilities remained in check. He broke the kiss, opening his eyes to look at her. She was totally lost as well. Her body took over, speeding up her movements in the rush for fullfillment. She opened her eyes to look into his, they were intense and dark with sex. It excited her over sensitized senses further. She couldn't have been more beautiful to him. Her face flushed, her skin glowed, her eyes filled with primal desire. He gripped her hip gently with one hand while the other moved up to stroke her face, feeling the heat emanate from her. He saw her eyes fill with tears, the love she felt for him overshone all else. She moved faster, kissed him more wantonly. She felt her orgasm approaching, the intense pleasure started deep in her womb and radiated outwards. He reached between them and gave her swollen clit a slight flick and she flew over the edge into the abyss. Her body convulsing around him, bringing him with her, his jets of fluid bathed her walls as they rippled and contracted, taking all that he had to give. This orgasm lasted longer than than the last one, she screamed with the intensity of it, then yielded against his strudy chest. Both struggling to regain their breath. After they both had time to recouperate Lana lifted her head lazily from his chest and looked at him in loving awe. "That was incredible." she said. Clark didn't know what to say. "I love you." was what he felt. Lana smiled. He smiled back and lowered then down to relax on the bed, she rolled to the side and pillowed her head on his chest. "I have something I want to give you." he told her, reaching into the top drawer of his bedside table, he pulled out a small velvet box. Lana spotted it and her heart started racing. She sat up and pulled the covers around her. Clark sat up as well. He held it out and opened it. The ring was an exquisite sterling silver Claddagh ring. Lana gasped and took the small box from him. "It's stunning." she stated. Clark lifted the small ring from the box and took her left hand in his. "It's a promise ring. I promise that one day I will marry you, Lana if, when the day comes, you'll have me." "Yes, of course, Clark." she said, her eyes getting all teared up again. He grinned and slipped the ring on her left third finger, a perfect fit. She hugged him tight, "I love you." "I love you, too. Forever." ~*~*~*~*~ Lois sneered as she watched the disgusting scene take place through the window that was right beside Lana's bed. "Alright, have fluffy fun. But I have a delightful little surprise coming your way Kent. You will be mine. Tina may have lost Lana, but I won't make that mistake." she said to herself. "See ya soon." she said, then turned on her heel and walked away into the night. ~*~*~*~*~ Part 10 Lois crept into the cemetery. It was dark and the shadows from the tall trees danced across her smoothe features. She glided up to the gravestone that she visited every night... HERE LIES TINA GREER 1985-2002 LOVING DAUGHTER DEVOTED FRIEND Lois scoffed at that. Devoted friend? Yeah right. The rabid bitch left her in the institution while she ran out free as a bird. They had been friends since Lois was tossed in the Loony Bin, and Lois was sure she could trust the shapeshifter. But she was wrong... way wrong FLASBACK "Are you doing it tonight?" Lois asked as her and Tina sat in the darkness of their shared room. Tina nodded. "Good, let's get the piro then." Her and Tina snuck out of their room without a peep and tip toed down to Melissa's room, the local piromaniac. She liked fire. Melissa was on her bed playing with an imaginary lighter. "Hey Mel." Tina said, walking up and handing her a real lighter. "We have a proposition for you." Melissa nodded without a word and began flicking the lighter on and off. "Glad your with us." She placed a forged note on the bed saying Melissa had escaped, the stupid orderlies would believe anything. The trio snuck out of Melissas room and into the art room where Tina and Lois doused her with paint thinner. The unknowing mentally ill girl flicked the lighter again, and went up in flames. Tina laughed evilly and grabbed Lois, making a run for the door as all the orderlies rushed to the art room not even noticing them. "Gotcha!" cryed a male orderly as he grabbed Lois. "Tina. Help me!" Lois cried to her friend who was still running. "Help yourself!" Tina called back as she got out the door and ran out into the night. Free at last. Lois was in tears as the orderly took her back to her room. After a while the coroner came and took the body of Melissa away. "It was Tina. She did it. Melissa escaped." Lois lied. She loved her friend very much, she would never double cross her. The police and staff of the institution believed her and made arrangements to get Lois moved in with another patient. END FLASHBACK "You stabbed me in the back. But, from what I hear though, you got stabbed in the front, so I guess you got what you deserved. But you know what?" she crouched down in front of the stone grave marker. "Clark will be mine. I've been doing my homework..." she held up the red meteor rock. "...Clark has Achillease heel, you know that hero in greek or roman times who was flawless except for his heel." She watched the rock start to glow. "Oh yea, Clark will see the light when this baby gets to him." ~*~*~*~*~ As the sun came up, it lit up her room with it's glow of a good morning. She smiled at it's warmth and reached out beside her... finding herself alone in the bed. Curiously she picked up her shirt and pj pants and dressed herself. But when she got up to put on her robe, a wave of nausea hit her and she had to run for the bathroom. After she had emptied all that was in her stomach she flushed the toilet and to stood and brushed her teeth. Then gripped the edge of the counter as a dizzy spell made her feel tipsy. She shook her head to clear it and finished brushing her teeth, running a brush through her hair, and taking her daily birth control pill, the amazing little pink pill that allowed her to get busy with Clark and still not get pregnant. When she got downstairs she spotted her boyfriend mopping the kitchen floor... in an apron. She giggled, this caused him to look up. "Are you mocking me?" he asked, leaning the mop against the counter and removing the apron. "Uh, yeah." she replied as her took her in his arms and gave her a lingering good morning kiss. "Mmm. I'm not so sure we should kiss. I think I'm coming down with something." she told him. "I can't get sick." he reminded her, kissing her again. Lana suddenly felt lightheaded and her knees buckled. If Clark hadn't had his arms so firmly around her, she would have fallen. "Are you okay?" he asked, his face a mask of concern. Lana took a deep breath and pressed a hand to her forehead. "I... I..." was all she managed before she passed out. Clark's heart sped up with fear as he watched the love of his life slip into unconsciousness, he supported her easily. "Lana..." he called to her. His heart racing he picked her up and ran at full speed to the hospital. ~*~*~*~*~ Hours later, Clark paced back and forth in the waiting room while the doctors tried to figure out what was wrong with her. "Young man, will you please sit down. You're making me dizzy." a nice old lady asked him politely. Clark looked over at the tender face of a nice old lady. "Sorry." he said, sitting down in the nearest seat. "Wife having a baby?" the old lady asked gently. Clark found himself wishing that was what it was, at least then he would know what it was. "No, my girlfriend passed out this morning after she said she felt like she was coming down with something." Clark confided. "Ah. There is a nasty bug that's going around this parts. I caught it myself. Took me through the ringers I'll tell you." she said, with a smile and a laugh. Despite himself, Clark found that he was smiling. "Why are you here?" He asked. "Third grandchild being born just down the hall." she said. "The name's Francis by the way." "I'm Clark." he introduced himself. "My girlfriend is Lana." Suddenly Francis placed a hand to the side of her face. "Lana Lang?" she inquired. Clark nodded. "Well, I'll be. My vision was right after all." she said. "Vision?" Clark asked, his brow furrowing. "Oh my. The women in our family have a nack for it. We get dreams of things that will come to pass. We see the path that certain people can make to get to certain parts of their life. Me and my grand daughter really have the gift. Her name is Cara. Perhaps you know her." Francis told him, knowing full well that Cara had spoken to him and Lana in the bus that day. "Yeah. She said me and Lana would get married." Clark told her. "We thought she was just kidding around." "Ah, you see that's where people make their mistakes. They have no faith." then she leaned closer. "Things are going to get rough up ahead, I won't lie to you. But you have to remember that the physically lost can be found, but when you lose a part of you inside, that is not so easily brought back." Then she got up and walked off down the hall. "Wait!" Clark called. Francis turned to him. "What about your grandchild." "He was just born. They'll name him Clark." she said, then turned and walked out of sight, leaving Clark with the cryptic message she had given him. "Clark Kent?" the doctor questioned. Clark looked up and saw Lana's doctor standing over him. He stood up right away. "Is Lana okay?" he asked immediately. "Yes. She's fine. We think she may have a touch of the flu, but we're running some blood tests. I just need to ask you a few questions." Dr. Emanuel told Clark. "Okay." Clark agreed, thankful to high heaven that Lana was going to be alright. "Let's sit down." they sat. "Have you and Miss. Lang had sex." the doctor asked bluntly. Clark turned a deep shade of crimson, but managed a nodd. "I trust you've used protection." the doctor assumed. "She's on the pill." Clark said. "Ah, well the pill it's 100% effective and it definitely doesn't protect against STD's. It's recommended that couples that are using the pill as a method birth control use condoms as well." he explained. "It was the first time for both of us." Clark told him. He was incredibly embarrassed, but if it helped find out what was wrong with Lana, he could bear it. "Okay. We still ran all the STD tests just to be sure. We've run a pregnancy test as well." with that the doctor stood. Clark stood up too. "Wait. There's not really much of a chance that she could be pregnant... right?" he asked. If his mom and dad found out that he had gotten his girlfriend pregnant... that was all he needed. "Not a huge change. I'd say a 5% chance. It's procedure to run all tests when female patients show the symtoms of pregnancy. You can see her now." then the doctor turned and practically ran off the avoid any more questions. Clark watched him go, then moved to open the door to Lana's room. He heart broke when he saw the IV in her hand and the oxygen tube in her nose. Her eyes were closed. He moved to her bedside and took her hand in his. "I'm sorry, Lana." he whispered. "For what." came her voice. It was hoarse and dry. "It's just the flu Clark." she told him. "It's not your fault." Clark nodded. "I was so scared. You looked so pale." he confessed. "Yeah. Seems I have the flu that's been sweeping Metropolis for the past few weeks." she said, moving to sit up and patting the bed beside her. He gave a weak smile and sat down on her bed. "When can you get out of here?" he asked. He loathed seeing her in a hospital bed. He'd much rather her bed at home in her own bed.. preferabley his... he mentally smacked himself for thinking of that when his girlfriend was sick. "They want to keep me overnight for observation. We get the results of those awfuls tests in a few days." she told him. His eyebrows popped up when she refered to the STD testing. "Trust me Clark. You don't want to know." she said. He couldn't help but chuckle. Even when she was sick and in a hard, uncomfortable hospital bed, she never ceased to make him smile and amazed him further. "I love you." he said, his voice cracking. Lana smiled and reached out to touch him face. "I know. I love you too." Then she scooted closer and hugged him rejoicing in the feel of his arms surrounding her, making her feel safe once more. "Did you call your parents?" she asked. Clark shook his head. "I will... later." he told her, holding her tigher, tight as he could without suffocating her. Lana nodded and let herself be held.
