Family  Science Club

Society depends on family. Also, the family is the most important thing in society. The mission of Family Science Club is to practice different events and to collect money for needy people. In fact one of the main goals of Family Science Club is to have community outreach. They already

have good relations with many community organizations like Al Thiqqa Handicapped Club. Family Science club has shared activities with them.       Family Science club started in 1998.There is one club in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. They share the activities, but they have different advisors. The president of Family Science club in Abu Dhabi is Ayesha Ali and the president of Family Science in Dubai is Bakhita Ali Abdullah Salem Abunuas Al Muhari. Every semester students meet together to select the new board by voting. The club members should have a good academic standing and have interest to be in the club.      Club membership is mainly for the Family Sciences major students. However, if there is any student whose major is not Family Sciences and is interested in being a member, she is most welcomed to join the club. Anyone who wants to join the club should inform the club advisors and they take action. In the Family Sciences Club there are 5 main members and other members. There is no number limit on the other members.      The budget is spent according to the requirement of each

activity. The club works on several kinds of activities during university wide activities like the Majors Day, Clubs Day and Zayed Free Zone. There are also club wide activities on World Food Day, Peace Week, lectures and others.
