The literature club is one of the most attractive clubs in Zayed University. The club started in fall 2000 with only four members. Now, it is about eight members, mostly from the major. However, because the major of the English Literature is not available any more, new members can be from any academic level. They  meet twice every month. They  choose the officers of the club on the basis of  their skills and experiences. Most of their  activities are literary. For example, they have the monthly newsletter,  group reading sessions,  book reviews and the guest speaker.

The Literature Club tries to give the opportunity to everyone to express their words and value them. They try to encourage students to read books and show them that through doing that they can improve their thinking and have a clear vision of life and the world.
They have a logo, which is the “Ladybug.” They chose this logo because the ladybug symbolizes togetherness, and they are always working together and giving their best shot as a one team towards one aim. Students do not need special requirements or skills to join the literature club, everyone is welcomed to be a member.
