The Guitar Club at Zayed University, in Abu Dhabi, will give you the chance to practice one of your favorite hobbies. Even if you don’t know anything about the guitar, in this club they will start with you from the beginning. They will teach you how to hold the guitar, how to play it, and step by step you will find yourself playing the guitar perfectly. This club will not take a lot of your time, because they only meet once a week, and they don’t work outside the campus.
If you decide to join this club, I think you need to know more about it, so read the following:
· This club started two years ago.
· It has about 15 students from all academic levels.
· Your responsibility in this club is just to practice as much as you can at your free time.
· The club usually chooses the oldest members as officers.
· In this club there is no special method to attract new members, but they may hear about it from others students.
· The biggest challenge facing this club was how to get the approval from the university, but because of their keenness they got it.
· This is the first year for the club to have a budget, and they haven’t spent it yet.
· The advisor of this club is Mr. Matthew Rynbrandt, and he will be very glad to teach you how to play the guitar.
· The most important thing you should know is that: you should bring your own guitar.
