There are many clubs in ZU which are very interesting and robotics club is one of them. This club which was started in the year 2000, deals with robots. Members build robots using LEGO bricks and then program them with things like artificial language and NQC.      Robotics Club does many different activities, for example, they built the first robot called Choco. Also, they organized a workshop, taught students about computer hardware and demonstrated Choco. Moreover, they went to Maimoona School which is secondary school, to fix the computer, clean hardware and download software.     There are many things that students should know if they want to join this club:      * They meet every Sunday and Monday for about an hour.      * The biggest challenge is to get more members in their club.      * There are 2 regular members.      * Students from any program (Readiness, GE and major) can join it.      * The responsibilities of club members are participating in the club’s meetings, building robots and programming them.       * They choose the officers of the club by voting.       * They spend the budget by buying new LEGO kits for building robots.       * The students do not have to get their own equipment because they borrow equipment from the library or buy new equipment using the club’s  budget.                             * They participated in clubs day.       * The advisor of this club is Mrs. Erika Mitchel (Erika Mitchel@zu.ac.ae)
