The 13th Annual Canal Days was held in Port Colborne. It was a great day for flying! Sometimes it was hard to make out the blue sky with all those kites filling the sky!

Derrick Jeanes collecting club dues again? didn't I just pay last year? Donna Taylor was willing to sell you as many tickets as you could afford ;-) It was really nice of the Wind Rider kite Club to provide cold drinks, coffee and some snacks for flyers.
That wind mill is like crazy man! Dennis and Arlene Ische had me stumped with this latest wind mill variation. Two sets of wind mill sails spin in opposite directions. If you are not sure of what I am talking about the direction symbols are right on the sails.
Unidentified kite flyer from Hamilton. This fellow was having trouble launching this commercially made Premier Kites Reza Genki. Vaino and myself stepped in to lend a hand. We made a couple of minor adjustments to the bow and bridle. Once modifications were completed the kite took off like a rocket. The large smile from this previously frustrated flyer was all Vaino and I required for payment.
No it's not raining. Dennis Ische is pictured walking out his Canada Delta for flight.
"Hey watch were you put those paws buddy!" I liked this photo because it creates the illusion of Meg & Bill Albers' Peter lynn cat stepping on one of my baskets.
