Gord Truscott Family Coalition Party an extended family member is adopted unconditional unconditional Some obligations in life are indisputable. When a person becomes a parent, the rights of the child to know their family tree and medical history take priority.

In the majority of cases there is no problem in birth parents opening the door to a relationship with their children of any age. If the agency sharing the records know differently I am sure that they would act appropriately.

Deborah Whale Liberal       I am personally supportive of assisting birth parents and adult adoptees in making as much contact as both sides wish to make. If however, for personal reasons, a birth parent or an adoptee does not wish to be contacted, they have every right to remain anonymous.
