Bob Nudd to open Heron Lake!
Angling star Bob Nudd will be on hand to open our brand new 50 peg match lake on 15 March 2003. Bob will do the official opening and present a trophy to the winner of the fancy dress charity match being held on the day. Any clubs or societies wishing to enter a team or have any other fundraising events that could be part of the open day are to contact Chay again by the above number or e mail.
Cobbleacre
Park lakes have Confirmed that John Wilson, Des Taylor and Lee Jackson will
be present at the Open weekend at the lakes on 29 May - 1 Jun 03. TV Stars Des Taylor and
John Wilson will be on hand to present the inaugural 'Cobbleacre Trophy' to
the lucky winners as well as giving over there experience to the winners
with there own one to one lesson. Respected Carp fishing guru and British
Carp record holder Lee Jackson will be there to offer advice to anglers as
well as holding a 'Rig Clinic' at the Cabin. Fishery manager Chay Jackson
said " This is a real coup for us, the anglers are the best in the world at
what they do and we feel very lucky to have secured there services" Chay
also explained that there may be more celebrities announced before the big
day, negotiations are ongoing with at least two more all rounder's.
