What you might see... The Wildlife at Cobbleacre is worth a page in this site, it really is home to some magnificent creatures. Our customers regularly report sightings of Deer and Badgers, indeed one customer got the shock of his life when he got out of his bivvy to relieve himself one night, a Red Deer Stag was drinking in his swim! Below is a run down on creatures you can expect to see during a stay.

Sparrowhawks are often seen hovering for pray. I very distinct and high pitched call differs it from the Kestrel which is also a regular visitor.

This vary rare and protected species is often wrongly mistaken for a 'Rat' or 'water rat', in fact it is a species of it's own and can often be seen sitting on the banks of the lakes. |
A very shy deer, it is the smallest of the Deer family. Sightings have been reported on many occasions in the meadow adjacent to Giana's and Mario's lakes. |
