The Wizard of Oz was the theme for this year. It was actually chosen long before Alexandra got involved with the play. Nanna made Alexandra's costume. The Lion outfit joined us via Ebay while the Tin Man and the ScareCrow were Whistler Lane Productions. | ||||||||||||||||

Colby's Halloween Colby enjoyed trick-or-treating until the third house he visited. At the second house, he got M&M's (his favorite) and he immediately wanted to eat them. Pauline told him he had to wait until he got home. He thought this was reasonable until he discovered that they had more houses to go to and they were not going directly home. He then had a fit at the third house, insisting that he, Alex and Mommy "Go Home Now". Which they did (Dad then took Alexandra out without the M&M kid). Of course, after eating his M&Ms at home, Colby liked answering the door and giving out candy -- EXCEPT for the Bob the Builder Fruit Snacks - which he insisted were for himself and he scolded anyone who tried to take them. Pauline explained they were for the children in costumes who came to the door. Colby then asked to get his costume on, stepped outside the front door, turned around and with a smile on his face, told Pauline "Ding dong. Trick or treat." So, he got a bag of Bob the Builder fruit snacks, too! |
