| In the Blink of An Eye In the blink of an eye you were gone Precious memories help so I don't feel so alone On angels wings you came and went Never drawing a breath, but Heaven sent Not many seem to understand the pain I feel When your baby is lost the hurt is so real Most don't want to hear my baby's story or name Get over it, move on they say - You're not to blame You were to be my son and their baby brother Did you have daddy's blue eyes or brown like your mother The questions I will always have to ask Always wondering - even in my smiley face mask Amazing - 10 years old you'd be this year I'd love so much to hold you near But in the blink of an eye you were gone Sadly - I will never be able to totally "move on" Written by: Mandy ~Branden's mommy~ 2005 |

| Reflections of Branden It doesn't seem like it's been 10 years Since God took you away It seems like time has flown so quickly I still dream of you each and every day. You were part of my hopes and dreams The last beautiful baby out of three Your brother and sister miss you so much Your time was short but now you're free I know you are happy and safe in Heaven That alone gives me so much peace I know I will get to hold you again Your bittersweet memories will never cease You will forever be my baby angel boy The one I didn't get to raise But I am thankful for the short time we shared For that God, I give you all praise In so many things I see your sweet face Blue skies, the ocean, and the wonderful rain Embedded in my heart you'll always stay I can hear you in the wind so I call out your name It's all a part of God's plan, you see As hard as I try I still struggle to understand When my time comes to be called home I'll be longing to see you with outstretched hands. | Our Little Angel You look like a little angel With tiny hands and tiny feet Even in your perfect death We are so glad we got to meet For 33 weeks I felt you move You woke your daddy at night You sure made your presence known You fought with all your might You looked like you were sleeping I wished you were in your bed Instead you are with Jesus Why did you have to be dead? We held you for a 'lil while But then said our goodbyes The tears kept pouring down No matter how hard we tried Ten years now since you were born We miss you with all our heart But the Angels in Heaven still rejoice For really, we are never apart! | Love Them Like Jesus The gifts lie in wait, In a room painted blue. Little blessing from Heaven Would be there soon. Hope fades in the night, Blue skies turn to gray, As the little one slips away.
