Welcome to muddy's second (larger) doghouse. Our little dog is getting bigger and moving around in the world - have a look and see what she can do now!

Muddy has started to get out and about, but before she heads out for an early morning of going bezerk, she starts with a good "sit."

We leave the house every morning just before seven. Often, I like to take her down to the Kennedy Center Balcony - an excellent place for training with a pretty view of the Potomac River

Once there, we play a little fetch. She's become quite good with the tennis ball.

What she really likes, however, is the frisbee. Look at her in the "ready" position!

...and watch her bring one back. She's reliable at quite a distance.

She also likes to forage around (surprise surprise), although on this morning, she was unsure what to make of the large flock of Canadian Honkers who stopped by on their way south for the winter (see background).

I've been having such a good time with this fetching thing, I think I'll try a football next. I don't think muddy looks so sure ...

... but somehow I'm confident she'll get interested!

Well, that's the second batch. We'll get some more soon! Take care everyone - and let me wish a Happy Thanksgiving to the Horst/Nola Clan!
