March of Comics #1 - #488 are smaller than the regular-size comics you see that are 7 1/4" x 10 1/4". With the March of Comics, sizes vary slightly - for example, 5" x 6 3/4", with a bigger size being approximately 5" x 7".

The Lassie March of Comics were give-aways at stores in the USA that sold shoes. Brand names mentioned on these March of Comics include Sears, Cabot's Children's Shoes, Child Life Shoes, Kinney's Shoes, Lazy Bones, Jumping Jacks, Little Yankee Shoes, Simplex Flexies, Robin Hood, Miss Robin and Poll-Parrot.

These comics were also used to promote products from Kroger Supermarkets. One copy of issue #230 says on the back cover: "Use Delicious Kroger Peanut Butter and Pure Fruit Preserves with Kroger Saltines for Super Snacks".

These small comics were published by Western Publishing Company Inc., K.K. Publications, Poughkeepsie, New York. They are copyright by Wrather Corporation and Lassie Television, Inc. or Lassie Programs, Inc., depending on what is written in the comic.

The number of a March of Comics consists of three digits, whereas the big comics have only two. Comic titles below refer to the story inside. All comic illustrations are in colour and there are usually two puzzles in the back after the story.

I have found all my Lassie March of Comics on Ebay.
