JUNIOR
Here's what you can start to do your Junior year:
  • Continue doing what you were doing in your freshman and sophomore years
  • Begin discussing college with family, friends, teachers, coaches, guidance counselors, ect.
  • Plan on attending College Fairs that are held in your area during the fall and winter months
  • Visit colleges that interest you during your spring break
  • Get college application forms and write sample essays
  • Take your first SAT/ACT during the May-June testing period; check to see if the SAT II is necessary with your counselor...see PSAT, SAT, ACT and more... for more information!
  • Investigate sources of scholarships and other means of financial aid during the summer before your senior year
