| The Upsilon Psi chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia was chartered on October 26, 1968. We just celebrated our 32nd year of brotherhood for this chapter, as well as 102 years of brotherhood for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Our chapter currently has 23 active brothers. Many of our alumni have gone on to successful careers. The USF School of Music houses faculty Sinfonians that read like a who's who list. The many alumni that reside, or visit(ed) our area, also read like a who's who list. The School of Music is growing agressively. Both Festival of Winds (Opus 25), and the first ever Festival of Voice (Opus 1), were successful; we hope to see you later this year for these events. We are very proud to boast these impressive facts about our fine institution. |
| Congratulations to the newly initiated brothers; their names are: Rudy Kass, Peter Krause, Sean Luce, James L. McNeil, and Dan Morales. They were intiated on November 17, 2000. The names of the newly elected officers are: Steven Florio, Music Director, Bruce Herrmann, FEO, Fai Fai Ho, Webmaster, Kevin Iverson, Secretary, Josh Parsons, Warden, Andy Rafalski, Ritual Director, Rafael Ramirez, Vice President, and last but not least, Erik Smith, President. The new officers were installed on April 3, 2000. May the light of Sinfonia guide their way. |

Our new chapter polo shirts have been well received by the brothers and general public. We would like to thank our past FEO, Brian Mason, for conceiving the idea of the shirts and making them a reality. Jon Popple was just installed as CPR at Fall Kickoff. In the meantime, please look for us, we're out there! The Brothers will be having an auction during the Spring semester. Come and get a brother or two! Our chapter presented the Orpheus Award to Dr. Robert J. Summer on April 27. Our chapter recently sang to the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. We thank them for their kind token of appreciation to us. We look forward to future activities with them. The Upsilon Psi Chapter extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Keith Issac Phillips (1979-2000). |
