The Beta Psi chapter was founded on May 15, 1948 in Ruston, Louisiana at Louisiana Tech University.  Since 1948, the chapter has had a total of 1630 initiates.

The chapter meets every Thursday night at 6:00 PM to start a formal business meeting in the College of Administration and Business Room 214. The chapter not only holds weekly business meetings, but they also participate in professional activities, fundraisers, recruiting events, socials, community projects, and university intramurals.

Y is a member of the Gulf South Region of the Southern Province of Delta Sigma Pi.  The chapter currently has ?? members and 2 chapter co-advisors, Dr. Mike Luehlfing , and Dr. Doug Amyx . Take a look at the Brothers page and the photo album .     
                       
The University operates on a quarter system, but the
BY chapter operates on a semester system.  Each year is broken up into two terms, where new officers are elected and new pledges are recruited for each term.  In addition, the new recruits  must finish a 6-8 week pledging process during the term.
