Welcome to the home page of Impact Ministries International! Simply put, we exist to meet the needs of students. You don't have to be part of some specific denomination or even a Christian to come to the meetings. It's a place where you can be challenged to think, encouraged to grow, and find the strength to develop in your understanding of God's purpose for your life.
We meet on campus Wednesday nights at 7:30 in Lecture Center 2. The meetings last about one hour. We start of the meeting with prayer and then have a small praise session with 4-6 songs. After that, everyone has the chance to share any kind of prayer praises or requests. This is the time where we just share a particular praise in something God has done for us during the week, as well as bringing up something that needs a prayer.
After the praise-prayer request session, we have a short bible study that focuses on the practical aspects of being a Christian. And finally after the bible study, we pray, then just hang out, relax, and enjoy some snacks.

Impact is also part of UACA (University at Albany Christian Associtation) which is an "umbrella" organization set up in part to keep each individual Christian group accountable to the others and the University. So if you can't make it to Harvest, we can help set you up with another Christian group on campus which would be better for you.
