During the next few weeks the brothers will start their General Chapter. It is very important that we keep them in our prayers, since very important decisions within the World Lasallian Family are about to be taken. Also during this Chapter the Brothers will be electing a new Superior General.
To manifest our Lasallian Solidarity during this time of great importance,we ask you to visit this site, and to forward it to at least 5 of your lasallian friends. In this way we can all be united in prayer.
Prayer for the 43rd General Chapter of the Brothers of the Christian Schools
Spirit of God, help us to see the signs of the times, and open our hearts so that Brothers, Sisters and Lay Lasallians may all respond to the calls you make to us in the world of young people and, especially, of the poor. Help us find the right guidelines and priorities to respond to these calls.
Spirit of love, renwe our fidelity to the living charism of our Founder, teach us to find new vocations, and raise up new saints for the service of the young people of the New Millennium about to begin.
Strengthened by your support and bound together by ties of solidarity, may we use our talents and our resources in the service of a mission adapted to present-day conditions.
We ask this through Jesus our brother and Lord. Amen
