Greetings from the netherlands to all those who remember me during the years 1951/2-1958.I still remember Bro.Oscar,Bro.Philip,Roger,Norman,Joseph,.Bro.felix Mr.Abela.Mizzi not forgetting Br.James(dir).I have been away from Malta since 1958.I am a qualif ed Printer and publisher where as I lived in the Uk,Australia,NZ,and for the past 20 odd years in NL.which I guess makes me officially a Maltese/British/dutch citizen.but glad to say still understand my native tong.originally from Misida.I would appreciat any old BW pics. from anyone who remebers my Italian name. I was just having a look at some maltese sites when I though to pop by and look for the old school. Some fine memories I have of the place. I believe it was Mrs. Gatt who thought me back then, Bro. Dom ran the show and Mr. Tonna ran the sports. I was on the yellows. 20 years since i left malta. the s te you are running is excellent. I have one request though, could you please post some pictures of the school. And O' yes, on the high playing field was the 'cafeteria' which as I remember really only served one thing, Maltese bread with some red sauce on it. I remember it being delic ous, what was in those sandwiches ?? Keep well

Having seen the other entries in this Guest Book, I thought I should add a little more content to my recent signature a few days ago. As an expat of the UK, I attended Stella Maris College until 1961/62. In addition to my ‘acting roles' in Shakespearean works such as ‘As You Like It', produced by Bro. Robert, I was also a keen athlete over the middle and long distances 880yds - 5 mil s, cross-country and Malta Road Races and holder of 5 school records at the time. My early recollections of Headmasters were Bro. Dominic and Bro. James. Bro. Victor (maths), Bro Paul, Fr. Bezzina (Latin), Bro. George (sports & games). Bro Robert (Eng. Language & Literature), Bro Norbert (Science/Physics). School class mates:- Eddie Buhagiar, Tommy Vella, Tony Mifsud, the Fenech brothers Michael & Francis, the Agius brothers Freddie and Maurice, Tony Spiteri and the McElhatton brothers with whom I have re-established links over the Internet and am now in r gular contact with James. I could go on & on..I cherish my many memories of the College and the beautiful Island of Malta over 10 years of my youth. My education took me on to a flying career, with tours in Sharjah, Dubai, Hong Kong, Germany, Canada, Ireland and with the United Nations in Cyprus. I am now settled in the South West of England. Hi. I am very proud to see that the College is keeping up with the times. Congratulations on your website. I am very proud to have been at Stella Maris Gzira in my youth and have passed my GCE's there. The strict upbringing and discipline of the Colleg have certainly stood me in good stead in the years that followed. I am now a Governer at St.Marks RC (Technology) College in Hounslow Middlesex and wish the boys and girls there the same I received from Stella Maris. Hello all you Stella Maris people. I had six great years at Stella Maris before I came back to England. Unfortunately my memory is now so poor that I cannot remember my teacher's names...;-) Anyway if anyone remembers me from those years it would be nice to hear from you and if this jogs your memory I was a RED and into football and running (came third in the 1,500m on the annual sports day two years running which I definitely couldn't do now .
