The Friulian students' society "Academie dal Friûl" is a no profit cultural association, aiming to promote the usage of Friulian and the development of a regional identity among University students, as well as protect the rights and interests of Friulian students in general. A non-party political association, "Academie dal Friûl" adheres to the principles of "Piçule cjarte dai dirits e dai dovès locai di lenghe", a charter detailing linguistic rights and obligations at local level, published in "La Sclese Nere" yr. I no. 2. Membership is open to anyone who shares the objectives of the association and subscribes to its statute.
