BULLS vs. LAKERS


The Bulls reached the NBA finals for the first time in their history. The team they were facing were no easy task. The L.A. Lakers had a reputation for a championship winning team. Their stars...Magic Johnson, James Worthy and A.C. Green. The Bulls knew they were going to be though, but as head coach Phil Jackson said "At least we have home court advantage." It was not a good thing at the beginning. Ther Bulls lost their first game in Chicago Stadium. Tension arose. The players knew they had to win in order to make it an even series. With confidence, they pulled it through winning game 2 and heading towards L.A. with the series tied. In L.A. they showdown continued. The Bulls had found their game . In front on thousands of fans in Inglewood, Lakers Stadium, the Bulls won games 3 and 4. Hearts beat faster, as game 5 approached. With little difficulty, the Bulls crowned themselves NBA champs!!! The odds had failed one more time.
