BULLS vs. SUNS


This time, the best team in history, faced their toughest challenged ever. The Phoenix Suns, with their new additions Charles Barkley and Danny Ainge, along with Kevin Johnson and Dan Majerle, prooved to be no easy task. The Suns held the best record in the Nba that year, so they had home court advantage. The first two games were played in the America West Arena, where the Bulls won. They headed towards Chicago with a two games advantage. Three games were played in Chicago. The first two were onw by one by each team. The series standed 3-1 in favor of the Bulls. The decisive game 5 was crucial to the Phoenix Suns. They wanted to take the series back to the America West Arena. Suns' coach, Paul Westphal, said to his team before the game "Win one!." On the other hand the Bull wanted to end it right there. I was not their night...the Suns won. Game 6 came along. At half time, the Bulls had a confident lead. Going into the fourth quarter, they led by as many as 12. Little by little, they lost ground. Phoenix took the advantage. With 9 seconds remaining on the clock, and the Bulls loosing by two, Scotti Pippen took the ball. He made a pass to Horace Grant, who inmediatly throwed to John Paxon, who was behind the arc. Paxon made his usual shot for three...It went In!!! Bulls crowned themselves champions on Phoenix ground.
