Orlando is probably better known for the neon green jerseys they wore than the football they played. The Thunder, a .500 team in 1991, got a young QB from the Dolphins by the name of Scott Mitchell for the 1992 season. The Thunder were quickly a contender. Mitchell caused quite a storm in the WLAF on his way to a multimillion dollar contract with the Detroit Lions. Many credit the WLAF to Mitchell's development as a pro QB. The Thunder also used several radical formations with offensive lineman spilt out wide.
