This is my Year 3/4 class photo, taken in 1983. The teacher is Mr Drage, who went on to bigger and better things as a teacher and eventually Principal, a bit further north in Western Australia, on the edge of the deserts.
It is at Mullewa District High School, my Dad was Principal there.
The small country town called Mullewa, is about 100km east of Geraldton.
It was one of the most interesting, hot, dusty, small, friendly, places I've known.
We were only there one year. I am in the Subiaco football jumper.
(Subi, and Hawthorn were my favourite teams when I was 9 years old and for a long time.)
