Well, a very exciting Game 1 win later the Braves seemed ready to "stomp" the Astros again. Too bad for Billy Wagner.

Chipper defies odds and hits a Hr against Wagner and the Braves are up in the series. Forgive me if I feel confident. The Astros did not want to face The Big Unit & Schilling. But who said Maddux & Glavine we easy? :)

10 STRAIGHT YEARS!!! It's amazing if you think about it.

And Chipper got 5 RBI's to push him past 100 for the 6th straight season. He's the only 3B in major league history to drive in 100 runs in 6 consecutive seasons.

That's amazing as well.

I am not an US citizen but I want to take this time to offer my condolences to everyone who lost a loved one in tuesday's terrorist attack. I also want to say I'll be praying for the victims, their families and friends.

Third baseman Chipper Jones has been playing in pain in recent weeks. And by the looks of things, it's not getting any better. Jones is suffering from a sore right shoulder (rotator cuff tendinitis), according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The injury has affected him in the field and at the plate. "It's bothered me quite a bit," Jones said in the Journal-Constitution. "I felt it the first time hitting three or four days before the All-Star break. It's gradually gotten worse and worse. I've been doing exercises and getting treatment, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better." To help ease the pain, Jones has been taking pain killers, the newspaper reports. Okay. Last time I updated I said I liked John Rocker. Scratch that. I don't think I do anymore. Not after Rocker's comments against not only Chipper but also Glavine & others. Now, onto the good news: Chipper hit .455 on the road trip and the Mets are coming up :-) He is also almost asured of the starting spot at 3B in the All-Star game. Read about all of this here.

Well ... it's been a while :-) I've been very busy with college and everything .. but don't worry, I got every email and I assure you guys I am alive and breathing.

The Braves are back to one game under .500 and *crosses her fingers* hopefuly they can win today and get to the .500 mark.

For those of you wondering about Chipper .. he's battling flu-like symptoms and it's still a day-to-day thing. You can read about it here.
