Lynn Orrin Mast, age 37, of Pleasantville, OH, died as a result of a sudden heart attack while unloading hay at a friend's barn on Thursday, March 18, 1999 at Fairfield Medical Center and also having juvenile diabetes. He farmed with his brother, growing corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay and raising Angus cattle. He and his brother were formerly employed as area scouts by the Moline Greens Baseball Club of Moline, IL. He especially liked John Deere farm machinery. He was a graduate of the Fairfield Union High School Class of 1980 where he was awarded the FFA state Degree, member of the Fairfield Union Young Farmers, and attended Wilmington College in Wilmington, OH. He was past master of the Pleasant Valley Lodge #531 F&AM, and a member of the 13th District Fellowcraft Team. After his death he participated in the Organ Donation Program. He is survived by his mother, Jeane Wolfe Maste of the home; older brother, David M. Mast of the home; younger sister, MSGT Karen L. Watkins USAF Reserve and her husband Col (SEL)Ronald L. Watkins USAF both of Pope AFB, NC. He was preceded in death by father, Nigel William Henry Mast; and grandparents, Orrin Friend Mast and Lulu Hartman Mast, Merrill Frederick Wolfe and Helen Wise Neff Wolfe. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Baltimore, OH with the Rev. Bryan Thomas and Lynn's first cousin, the Reb. Alice M. Wolfe officiating. Burial to follow in Hampson Cemetary. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The Pleasantville Valley Lodge #531 will have a memorial service at 8:00 pm.
