March 8, 1998--
Hello everyone!!
I'm finally back from two exhausting weeks of travelling around the country. Like I mentioned in my last journal, I was in New York for the Time Magazine Anniversary event. I had the fortune of meeting people like Bill Gates, Mikhail Gorbachev, Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford, Barbara Walters and others. Also in attendance were President Clinton, Muhammad Ali, Tom Hanks, Chris O'Donnell and many more.
Following that event I went to Boston for an appearance, and subsequently to Salt Lake City for another appearance. I'm back in Los Angeles buckling down on my school work as finals are only two weeks away. Tonight my sorority is initiating the new pledges so that will be fun.
Thursday I'm off again for a quick trip to Phoenix where I'm participating in the Muhammad Ali Fight Night, the proceeds of which go to Parkinson's disease. They put different celebrities in the ring together for "mock" fights and I think they have paired me with Amy Van Dycken, the Olympic swimmer. It should be a lot of fun.
