Description: Captain Blood is a large man, with a bit of a gut from drinking beer and eating fish.  He has long black hair, as well as an eye patch on his left eye from where he lost it in a fight with a swordfish.  He wears black full length wrestling tights with a red skull and crossbones on each side.  Bilge Rat is not quite as big as his tag team partner, Captain Blood, but is built very similar.  He has short brown hair and like Captain Blood, is almost never shaven.  He wears black full length wrestling tights, with a red skull and crossbones on each side, as well as carrying the Blood Pirates trademark Pirate Flag.

History: The Blood Pirates were born in the medium sized town of La Rochelle, on the Atlantic coast of France.  Bilge Rat came from a family of innkeepers, that had owned the famous Fish Hook Tavern for generations.  Due to the poor economy of the town, they grew up poor, and wandering the streets.  At an early age, the Blood Pirates met each other while wandering the shoreline town.  The two quickly became friends, and terroized the town with their pranks.  At first, the towns people didn't mind, because they were very young, and the pranks were nothing more than brief annoyances.  But as time wore on, so did the Blood Pirates on the townpoeples nerves.  Finally, when the Captain Blood turned 16, the mayor of La Rochelle, ordered that both of the boys leave the town, and not come back until they had matured a little.  So, the Blood Pirates left, and went to Captain Blood's grandmother's to stay.

Captain Blood's grandmother was not the ordinary grandmother that most people would come to expect.  She was a tough lady, and much to the suprise of the Blood Pirates, a former wrestler.  She had been a champ in many leagues, and had won fights across the world.  She took the boys under her wing, and showed them the basics of wrestling.  They lived on a French farm near Lyons, so there was no one to bother them, or for them to bother.  Grandmother recognized that the Blood Pirates could never be cured of their wild behaviour, but she channeled that into wrestling, quickly realizing that they were naturals.  As they got older, both Bilge Rat and Captain Blood became bigger, stronger and faster.  Grandmother realized that though she had been good, she was too old to handle the Blood Pirates as they grew older.  So, calling on an old friend for help, she sent them away.

The Pirates were sad to leave, because Grandmother were the only family they had, but she explained to them that it was time to leave and become  men.  So, The Blood Pirates packed there things, and went to Tokyo, Japan, to train with one of Grandmothers friends, Mr. Dragon.  Mr. Dragon was in the prime of his career when the Blood Pirates came to him, and quickly took a liking to the two Pirates.  He knew that they would not be able to adapt to Japan, so, he took him on tour with him, as his personal assistants.  Traveling around the world, the Blood Pirates quickly began to learn more about people, and about wrestling.  They trained with Mr. Dragon, and with anyone else on tour that would help him and Captain Blood.  But both of the Pirates were mediocre at best in singles, leaving doubt as to whether they would be able to become wrestlers.  Then, one day everything changed.

Mr. Dragon had a show in London, England, and left the Blood Pirates to themselves.  Bored and with nothing to do but fight with each other, the Pirates decided to go out on their own that night, and see the town.  Bilge Rat left and walked the streets of London, looking for somewhere to eat.  It was very late at night, so there was no where to open to eat.  He walked the streets, seeing all of the sights of London, before finally coming to a large inn.  Entering, he saw many people inside, having fun, and even better, eating.  Running inside, he called for the serving girl to bring him their biggest fish, as quickly as possible.  Taking Bilge Rat's loud manner, the girl ran to the back, and grabbed a huge fish, bringing it to Bilge Rat raw.  Laughing at the girl, he was about to send it back when a man came rolling down the stairs, landing next to him.  Another man followed with a knife, and when Bilge Rat looked more closely, he saw it was Captain Blood on the floor.  Reacting on instinct, he grabbed the huge fish with both hands, and knocked the thug in the face with it, sending him to the floor.  After Bilge Rat pounded the thug into a nightmare he never imagined, he helped his drunk friend back to their room, where he explained what happened.  Unfortunately, one of the wrestlers on the tour had been at the bar, and had seen everything.  Reporting back to Mr. Dragon what had happened, Mr. Dragon gave them a lesson on partying on the road.  But he also saw the teamwork of they displayed, and from that day forth, the Blood Pirates have been a team.

After some months of training, the Blood Pirates returned to France, where they fought for a while, before recieving a call from Mr. Dragon.  Hearing that he needed their help in traing two youngsters, the Blood Pirates jumped at the opportunity.  Flying to Japan, they met up with Mr. Dragon, and his two new students, Kid Nitro and Kid Dragon.  At first, the Pirates laughed at their scrawnyness, but then realized that they had a great deal of talent.  The four became good friends, and quickly their skills improved.  After many months of training, Kid Nitro was called to join the WWPA, and the Blood Pirates were alone with Kid Dragon.  But this didn't last long, as Mr. Dragon brought in his two sons, the Dragons, to train with them.  For many months, they trained, until the Blood Pirates got a call from Kid Nitro to come and join him in the EEMWF.  Leaving Japan, they went to the States to join up with Kid Nitro.

The Blood Pirates careers started off with a bang.  The officials in the EEMWF had evidentally heard of them, so the Blood Pirates recieved a title shot before even winning a match.  In their first official match, the Blood Pirates defeated the Outsiders for the EEMWF World Tag Team titles, and there was much rejoicing.  After a long time in the EEMWF, Kid Nitro fell off the bridge, and was seriously hurt.  The Pirates were destroyed, so they decided to help their "boss".  Taking him to Japan, they returned to the town that they had been banned from.  The mayor of the town, the same one who had banned them, saw that they had matured, and let them in the town with Kid Nitro.  There, Nitro recooperated, and met the Blood Pirates family and old friends.  After some time, they returned to the States, where the Blood Pirates have remained a great tag team.  They now fight in the AGW, and show no signs of retiring anytime soon.  To be continued...
