78th FBS Shepherd's Grove - 1958

This site is for those of us that were stationed at RAF Shepherd's Grove in the late 50's. It's a scan of a part of a base scrapbook published in 1958. I hope you enjoy it and drop me a line. I'd like to know where you are and what you have been doing for the last 40 years. (Has it really been that long?)

I'm Jack Nixon and was stationed there from mid 1955 to 1958 and was in the Sight and Radar group. I'm now retired from Boeing where I was an Experimental Flight Test Engineer. Just couldn't seem to get away from airplanes. It was a fun job getting to fly on experimental test flights, but it's even more fun to be retired.
