The CD-ROM Hotlist is intended for situations when Internet is not available. It is also useful to get a solution quickly onto a computer that is cut off or delayed in its access to the Internet due to a virus or spyware. Once the CD-ROM hotlist is used, it is a good idea to continue with the Internet Hotlist as soon as possible, because that list will offer some updated file versions and many more options to the ones found on this list.
