This picture is sort of an old one, but I really like it. It is taken in front of the house that we grew up in and my mom still lives there.Sadly, my dad died in May,1994. The bush behind us covers the window now.Sadly, my mom died in March 2004 and we had to sell her house.I live right next door so it is really hard for me.She was my best friend.

When we were kids, we used to have a newspaper that we published, sold ads and delivered to our neighbors in Westwood, as our suburb in Cincinnati is called. Therefore, the name we gave to our paper was, The Westwood Weekly. We called ourselves reporters,too. It was a lot of fun.This picture is from an article that was in our neighborhood newspaper, The Western Hills Press.

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
My parents Ep and Hazel were both born in
Cincy, too.
I have 3 older brothers, Ron married to Renate, live in Cincy,
Hank married to Iz, live in Maine and Larry married to Pearl, live in Texas. I have an older sister,
Kathy married to Dave,
who live in Cincy,too.
I was married in 1970 to Alvin.
So we celebrated our 36th anniversary
on March 28,2006.
We have a son Steve,who has been
going with Angie for 14 years.
We also have a daughter Vicki,who is married to Steve.
They have Jerry 16,

This is my favorite picture of my dad, it was taken up in Maine, when he was visiting Hank and Iz.

Here is a nice picture of my mom and dad.They were married for 55 years when my dad passed away on May 5,1994. Exactly four months later September 5,1994, we lost my husband's mom, Hazel Cook. What a terrible year that was.Two days after my dad died my grandson was in the wedding of one of my good friends, talk about trying to be happy and grieving at the same time.Well 2004 was another bad year. My beloved mother died on March 1 and it has been a really rough year,I really never let anyone know how much it has bothered me.My daughter said that my dad asked my mom "where the heck have you been?" In December my brother Ron's wife Renate died, really hard losing your mom and wife in the same year.
