About ME
I began creating miniatures when I was 5 years old.  Beginning with my Fisher Price People.  At the time these little creatures didnt have available to them many of the items I thought should have filled their homes so I created them out of paper and scraps of fabric found in my mothers sewing room trash can.
When I had kids of my own (4 boys) I created for them houses and building for their match box car city.  Thank God for Legos.  These little building blocks made my task easier.
My boys have grown up dealing with my obssesion (as well as playing with my creations) and were at times very helpful with suggestions and served to be my test subjects and quality control department.
When I got into the hobby of collectable miniatures I was not satisfied with the quality of some items.  I dont care for the bulky, thick look of some items.  Nor am I attracted to the Victorian style.  I primarily focus on simple, straight lines and light to medium wood stains.  I try to create items that I feel the average family might have in their homes.  Items that are fuctional, practical and would be reasonably priced if they were actual sized.
Speaking of size, Most of my creations are scaled down from actual measurements of 1:1 sized items.  When possible and neccesary, based on availability I try to use scale appropriate materials for my miniatures.  This includes small scale prints and thickness for fabric covered items.   Scale appropriate wood thickness for wood items.  And scale appropriate paper for boxed grocery items.  This Method makes most items as close to miniature replicas as I can get them which makes many items very delicate.  it goes without saying that gentle handling is imperative.
Over the years I have created so many items that when I see one I dont recognize it as being mine.  I have done special orders and countless repairs.  I have build homes from kits and from my own deisgns.  Currently I am creating whatever comes to mind.  You can see many of my new items listed on Ebay.
I will try to keep a current inventory on this site of items I have listed and what sold and what is available.
