Guys, I just got this letter today and wanted to share part of it with you.  I think this is sick and something needs to be done.  I know a grievance has been filed....but we all know how that works.  So, any suggestions of how to check into this would be apperciated.

"Oh! your not going to believe this, today they was serving us lunch, well in my potatoes, was a tail of a rat, another inmate, said he found a foot in his.  Whoever, the cook was, he cooked the rat in the potatoes, and when I looked at the tail, you could tell it had been cut off.

At first the inmates thought the thing was funny, till I told them, the tail was in my tray but a tail comes with a body, and a body, has the inner parts, and they all starting feeling sick.  I felt a little sick, the thought of it even makes me sick, but I just now talked to the evening nurse, cause my side was cramping, and she told me to fill out a medical form, and write a grievance, upon, the kitchen, and they will come take me to medical, in the morning.  When I get my reply from the grievance I will send it to you so you can see how they handled it.  When inmates use to complain about the food, they would take pictures of a good tray, and show it to those that come to investigate, now they have pictures of parts of rats in it, so I wonder, what they will think now and also know I will never eat mashpotatoes no more here, after that I really feel sorry for inmates eating those potatoes, thinking its some kind of meat they serving.

 What I think it was some inmate got mad at someone back here, chopped up a rat really fine, and mixed it in, with the mash potatoes.  Someone had to cut it up, other wise the rat would have still been whole just dead and the kitchen boss's, are suppose to inspect the food before he lets it out the door.  But I think a lot of inmates are going to write up grievances on this matter"
