Christine Marie Lewin aka Chrissy
Chrissy and I met during middle school in NJ. We became closer during high school, where we shared a passion for Mr. Eckstein's chorus and a hatred for Mr. Seras' US History 2. ::wink:: Strange as this may seem, we became much better friends after we'd graduated and gone to different universities - me to Montclair and her to Rowan. She's been such a solid friend all these years, I really owe her a lot. She is kind and thoughtful always. She puts her family and friends first 99.9% of the time - often to her own detriment. This passion for selflessness got parlayed into a career. She is a special education teacher, which I respect a lot. She also has a really cute cat named Mittens. We were even roomies for about a year while I was in grad school in CT. She's still back there in, letterboxing her heart out. Despite having shelled out mucho deneiro on 4 other bridesmaid gowns before and having her sister's wedding to worry about at the same time, Chrissy has been kind enough to do me the honor of being one of my bridesmaids at my May 2005 wedding. We may not be blood related, but she is definitely my sister. Check out her web site to learn more about this incredibly beautiful person.
Sadly, Chrissy lost her mother to breast cancer in September 2000. Mrs. Lewin was a wonderful woman, a true inspiration to all who knew her. Please visit my memorial page for her. Also check out the two letterboxes Chrissy has planted in her memory, including one I helped plant.
