Our machine covers

I used to have a different cover for Bernie, but when Liza

got her 1630 (Ms Mouse) I suggested that we make new ones for our machines.

From past experience I have learnt that the cover either goes through

the washing regularly to clear the dust from the top section, or

put some vinyl on the top part (over the fabric), now cleaning is

as easy as wiping with a damp cloth. The side are only fabric

so as to allow Bernie to breathe.

The clear insert on Bernie is one I had the folks at Plastic World make for me from perspex to my own specs. The one that Ms Mouse slides into was originally made for Liza's 1008, and with a little adaptation, I got it to fit Ms Mouse like a glove. Note the big hole in front to change bobbins through!
