"Walk With Me"

Take my hand and walk with me
and tell me of thy ways,
and fill my life with purpose
that will benefit my days.

Guide my steps upon the path
through stormy days and fair,
and let me know for certain that
your guiding hand is there.

Plant the seeds of truth within
the garden of my life
that I may grow with love,
in joy as well as strife.

Keep the flame within my heart
a secret burning bright,
let thy will flow through my life
and guide me in the light.

When last the page is written
and my book of life is full,
release my soul from bondage
from the Earth's etheric pull.

Keep a candle lighted in
the place my memory dwells,
that those I love and honor
know that I'm alive and well.

Take my hand and walk with me
the day my life is done,
allay the darkness of the night,
so I'll not walk alone.

Wrap me in thy loving shroud
and keep me in thy sight,
and send my spirit soaring on
thy winds of golden light.
