SNACKS & APPETIZERS

SAUSAGE BALLS
recipe from:  Jamie T.

3 cups Bisquick
1 pkg. breakfast sausage (the kind in a roll- not links)
1 pkg. sharp cheddar cheese
water (however much is required for 3 cups of Bisquick)
finely minced onion (optional)
finely minced celery (optional)
salt
pepper

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and 'mush' together with hands.  Grease baking sheet and heat oven to 350 degrees F.  Make small bite-sized balls and place them a few centimeters apart on baking sheet.  Cook approx. 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Notes:  For a spicy version, use spicy sausage or add a dash of hot sauce.  The onion & celery give a wonderful texture and flavor, but are optional.
