The P&O liner Oriana

I have a great interest in drawing ocean going vessels of all types, both real and fictional. I have a particular fondness for the great Atlantic passenger liners. Every ship is unique in details and texture, which makes them excellent subjects, and I try to detail them as much as possible, perhaps bordering the line from what is considered 'Art' to 'Illustration.' I prefer being 'realistic' over 'artsy.' Below are some selected examples of my maritime illustrations and designs in various mediums. S.S. Uganda, originally British India Steam Navigation Co, Transferred to P&O line in 1972. She was converted to a school ship in 1967 and also served as a hospital ship and troop transport in the 1982 Falklands Conflict.
