There are only 400 tickets going on sale and they are going fast so you need to get in there quick. Tickets are £10 and subject to a booking fee. The show is over 16 years of age only and doors open at 7pm. All you have to do to guarantee advance tickets is go to the official site to buy them from the Zodiac online ticket store. 'Cradle Of Fear' Released April 8th The 'Cradle Of Fear' film, has been passed uncut ('18' certificate) by the UK censors, and will be released on DVD to buy or rent from April 8th. The film features dark musical contributions from Cradle of Filth and was directed by Alex Chandon who was also behind the 'Her Ghost In The Fog' promo video. Cradle Of Filth At Ozzfest 2002 Cradle Of Filth have been confirmed to perform live at Ozzfest 2002, when the heaviest festival in the world returns to rock's spiritual home at Donington Park on Saturday 25th May. Cradle will be playing alongside a total of 26 bands on two main outdoor stages and one indoor arena, including headliner Ozzy, of course, and the following acts: TOOL, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, SLAYER and more soon to be announced. BBC Radio 1 will be broadcasting live from the Ozzfest site bringing listeners all the best music from the festival. The station will be broadcasting a special edition of the Radio 1 Rock show presented by Mary Anne Hobbs which will come from Donington Park. The band are due to go into the studio to record their first album for a major label at the beginning of May with a brief respite in recording to allow the band to perform at next year's Dynamo festival in Holland. The legendary Donington festival in England may also play host to Cradle next Summer, with a guest appearance already being penciled in. Plans are also afoot for a full South American tour sometime after the album's completion late next Summer, perhaps around late September/possibly early October time. The album itself looks like being another conceptual work (much in the vein that "Cruelty And The Beast" was) with a tentative working title of "Damnation And A Day", with two songs already written and two more to be completed before the Xmas sojourn. January will then bear witness to the band demoing several of the tracks in New Rising studios, Peldon, where they recorded the "Bitter Suites.." offering earlier this year. There are no hard feelings between the band or Robin, as stated he left the band for his reasons.It is very amicable and he will help out if we should need him to. We will be actively looking for a new bass player once the U.S. tour is over. This will be before the performance at the Hammerstine Ballroom on the 19th The band will be signing autographs at the Sam Goody's store from 6pm All fans attending you must ONLY bring ONE item per person to be signed. The band can only sign one item per fan due to having perform in the same day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- July 6 , BSTS USA Release(Reason it is not enhanced) The USA version of the BSTS CD should also have been enhanced like the Europe version.The Manager and the band were under the impression that it was and in fact it only came to light that it was not, with emails from yourself and a few others!Spitfire knew that it was not going to be enhanced weeks ago so we have no idea why they have not changed their website accordingly. They have now been asked to do so now. Apparently the reason for the non-inclusion by Spitfire is down to a production problem. The band's manager has been now told it would have been impossible to keep the release date(July 3)if they had included the Enhanced material. However, no one from the record companies has come to their manager or the band at any point in time to volunteer this information. Regarding magazine advertising, the Ads would have been placed before the hold up, so unfortunately it would not have been possible to change these. Both the manager and the band are very angry that fans have been misled in any way. All we can do is apologise for other people at this point. The band's manager is speaking to Spitfire to see whether it is possible to have the enhanced section added to a later run of CDs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- July 2 , Quart Festival in Norway Cancelled! Gian has strained a muscle in his shoulder at the Video shoot the other day. He managed to do the Athens gig, after seeing an Osteopath, he told him that he must now rest it, or otherwise it will not heal. Paul was hit by someone throwing a bottle, full on the back of his hand, at the festival in Athens over the weekend. His hand is swollen and bruised, must again be rested. Everything should be fine by the time the American tour starts, so do not worry. June 21 , Bogus French Festival! A so called festival has been said to take place this Summer in France on the 20,21, & 22 of July.The festival claims to have Cradle of Filth and Anathema doing the festival.The band are definitely not doing this festival and nor are Anathema. We know nothing about it. Do not under any circumstances buy tickets for this, as it is not happening. And in fact the police will be contacting the guy behind this as he is attempting to gain money under false pretences. Of course Cradle of Filth cannot be doing it as they are on North American tour at that point. Dani will appear alongside Lisa Rogers,US Comic - Eddie Brill and Steve Harley.Cradle Of Filth will also make an appearance in 'Bad Boys Of Rock', a new series on 'yoof' Culture which will also feature the boy band 5IVE. The long-awaited controversial horror movie Cradle Of Fear which features Dani and the other members of Cradle of Filth is due for release over the Internet at the end of March 2001. Cradle Of Filth are also doing a cover of "The Fire Still Burns" for inclusion on the Twisted Sister tribute album - "Twisted And Strange" due for release on Koch Records. The European tour is going incredibly well, sold out venues everywhere and we are having to move up to bigger venues in some cities due to the demand! November 18,updated Nov. 27 Notice For Distressed Israel Fans We have discovered that the 800 Israeli fans who bought tickets for the Tel Aviv show have not been refunded their money! The promoter,an employee of the Israeli record company which invested some of his own money in the gig,failed to insure the show.This meant that when the show was cancelled due to ill health, he was unable to claim the money back from his Insurance company, which would be the normal situation with a promoter.So he has so far not refunded the ticket prices to the people who had bought tickets.The manager and the band are very distressed by this and were unaware until today of this.They are looking at the possibility of re-scheduling the show for some time next year, but have no definite confirmed plans so far.We are looking into trying to get the fans who have so far lost their money,something as a token of our apologies. Dani had flu and then he got Laryngitis and the doctor said he was unable to sing for a week or it could do permanent damage. So very unfortunately we had to cancel the show in Israel. We hope to be able to re-schedule it for Spring next year, as we cannot fit it in this year, before the European tour, as the band are playing Greece and doing European press trips.
