January 6, 2003 - HAPPY
NEW
YEARS!
Sorry about not keeping up this past
season. I've had alot of things come up.
Then watching Leclair get hurt again I've kind of lost interest
in the Flyers Well not really! The Flyers pull out a big one the
other night vs. Atlanta. Lets
hope the Flyers can keep this scoring streak up! It seems like the
Flyers have been dropping like flies this year. Will Leclair ever
be Healthy again. I sure hope so.
September 25, 2002- As
the Philadelphia Flyers Season Opener Draws Near I thought I would
get rid of the old site and create a new. Kind of like a fresh start
for both the Flyers and Crash's site. It's been a very busy summer
working on my MCDBA certification. Since I'm almost done with the
testing, thank God, I will be doing more updates.
ESPN-"You
idolize Hank Williams Jr. and the late Waylon Jennings. But that
label is fine with new Flyers goaltender Robert Esche. Esche, 24,
who will sport a picture of Jennings on his helmet, hopes to give
Roman Cechmanek a run for the No. 1 goaltender spot. Although he's
expected to just play 15-to-25 games as Cechmanek's backup, coach
Ken Hitchcock said Esche reminds him of NHL great Curtis Joseph."
How bumbed is this:
"A blocked shot is in the eye of the
beholder. So are hits, giveaways and takeaways, for that matter.
The NHL is doing away with a handful of subjective statistics this
season. Now, it will be more difficult to give role players their
due," writes Terry Frei ESPN
September 14, 2002 -
After going to an exciting Penn State
Game Last Night (PSU 40 NEBRASKA
7) I just wanted to give my viewers an update on the site. I will
be posting the 2002-2003 Schedule with in the next couple of days.
I will also be updating this site throughout the Month of September.
Summer
Break
June 12-
Flyers trade goalie Brian Boucher and third round 2002draft pick
from Nashville to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for 25 year old
Slovakian center Michal Handzus and 24 year old backup goaltender
Robert Esche.
June 27-The
Philadelphia Flyers Fan Site has a new look to it. I was getting
sick of the old one!. Well, The Philadelphia Flyers have a busy
summer ahead of them if they want to be able to compete next year.
I'll have regulare updates over the summer now that the new site
is complete.
July 3,2002 -Will
the Philadelphia Flyers ever catch a break? Courier-Post: "Flyers
left wing John LeClair, who two seasons ago missed 66 games because
of back surgery and a subsequent staph infection, is scheduled to
undergo another procedure on his back, the Courier-Post learned
Tuesday."
