 Creston Collies was established in 2003. Although we are new to the Florida area, we are not new to the Collie world. We bought our first Collie in Canada in 1972, and showed and bred for several years. We took a break from showing and breeding when we had our children, but this never stopped us from owning and loving these beautiful dogs. Now that our children are grown and we have semi-retired to Florida, we have decided it was time to get back into showing and breeding. Our kennel is located on 5 acres in Brooksville, Florida. First and foremost, our priority was getting started again with a fantastic line of dogs. We wanted to find a breeder to work with whose dogs had great faces, were clear-eyed, had good structure and movement, and had great dispositions. We know we had found this when we met Connie & Shirley DuBois of Sylvan Collies. 2009 is shaping up to be a great year for us. We continue to show Orion who is minored out so we will be looking for those major points. We cannot wait to start showing our 2 newest additions. We decided to keep 2 of Claire's litter that were born in October of '08. Adam & Amy, both blue merles, are spectacular. I hope to finish these two in the Bred By class. Josh, is available for stud.
