The Killing of a Hippie
Billy Buck is mad. Really mad. A group of hippies have invaded his vast, beautiful land. They plan to set up a compound devoted to peace and nature. However, they have arrived not knowing that Billy Buck guards his land, and will fight for it, tooth and nail. Arming himself with a good selection from his personal arsenal, he drives his truck into the heart of his acreage. Getting out, he lights himself a Marlboro and loads his weapons. He is determined to bag at least one tree-hugger before the day is over. He scouts his land for an hour, patiently waiting to come upon one of the free-loving, disease-spreading hippies. Then, he spots one. What he sees disgusts him. At first he believes his prey to be female, due to the long, dirty hair, but soon realizes that the half-clothed mess is a scrawny dude...but still ample hunting material.

Billy Buck quietly readies his prized AK-47 assault rifle, taking careful aim at the hippie. A bead of sweat rolls down Billy's brow, not from nervousness, but from the excitement that grows inside of him. He wacthes through his sights as the hippie frolics in the grass, lighting a joint. "That's the last toke you're taking," Billy Buck thinks to himself. With the ease of the skilled marksman that he is, Billy Buck centers his sights and squeezes the trigger. CRACK! CRACK! The rifle booms throughout the valley, smoke pours from the muzzle...and the hippie falls.

Billy Buck laughs quietly to himself. With his weapon still ready at his side, he walks to the place where the hippie fell to his death. Half-hanging over the embankment, the hippie's blood creates a crimson trail. The sight is beautiful to Billy Buck's eyes. He feels the power that his forefathers have bestowed upon him flowing within. Successfully, he has protected his land from the hippie. He feels the warmth of American freedom flowing within his veins. With the same warm sensations, he holds up the head of his trophy in triumph!!!
However, Billy Buck realizes that his gloat must end. The day was still very young, and there were plenty more hippies out there, awaiting the gaze within the sights of Billy Buck's rifle. THE END.
