The Granny's Traditions Story
When I was a little girl, I use to sit fascinated as I watched my Grandma & Great Aunt's fingers flying, almost in a blur, creating the most beautiful and intricate pieces of crochet "art" I have ever seen.

The smallest hooks with the tiniest threads creating roses, potholders, doilies, table runners, washcloths, etc...almost anything you could think of!  And, just like the "little helper" that I was, I just had to learn their art, too.

I do not believe that I will ever be able to master the three dimensional effects that they could with their roses but, I did master the basic concepts, their attention to detail and their demand for the "perfect piece" that will last for lifetimes to come.

Unfortunately, the very hands that so lovingly taught me so much can no longer make those beautiful pieces but, showing them what I have created, in their names, makes them very proud.  And, the look on their faces when I show them something new I've done truly warms my heart to the fullest.

So, it is with great honor & love that I dedicate this site to my Grammy & Great Aunt Kiki.  And, with every item I create, I hope to pass a little of their love, and our family traditions, on to you.

Blessed Days,
Amy
