It has been both a privilage and an honor to serve you as Editor in Chief of The Voice newspaper.

I appreciate the guidance and support provided to me by so many kind and generous people.

first of all I thank my Adviser Julie Knapp for her instruction and patience, next I thank all my editors and staff reporters, it is because of you that this paper is published.

Also I must thank my bro Gabriel Cruz, you have been a good friend and a mentor, I thnk you for the opportunity you gave me and the path that you helped me to see.

When I came into the journalism program I was not sure where I wanted to go in life, but with some guidance I was able to experience this wonderful world of journalism.

I have enjoyed journalism so much and will write occasionally, but it was through this newspaper that I have been able to become inspired again about my first passion, political activism.

I have seen and experienced what I came to see, and now I am going to move on with my life and continue my degree in political science at Arizona State University, in my future I hope to continue to have my name in print, only now I hope to be the subject of stories not just the writer.
