| As purchased 9/04/06. Later, to change the color, I purchased all new pieces from Honda for the 2003 model. I'm a big fan of blue! Also added later were Mapam forward controls, painted fork, progressive fork springs, new windshield, bags, mirrors, rear signals, airhorn, custom headlight and chrome radiator cover. |

| On 12/03/07, while riding home from work, I was riding on a 4 lane road with a center turning lane. While in the LEFT lane, a car approximately 3 car lengths ahead of me in the RIGHT lane decided he wanted to make a U-turn to the LEFT... directly in my path. There was nothing I could do but nail the brakes to lessen the impact as much as possible. Damage to the bike can be seen better by clicking them and viewing full size. Frame damage caused the insurance company to declare it totalled. Damage to me: bruising on my shin and underside of foot, and a mild ankle sprain. Spared by God and my riding gear. LOOK TWICE, SAVE A LIFE... WATCH FOR MOTORCYCLES!!! |
