| 02/23/06 - I got some paint work done. The engine compartment is now one color, which is more than can be said for the rest of the car! I've uncovered three layers of paint. The car apparently started out red then at some point in it's history, it was painted turquoise, and finally ended up the odd shade of blue I found it in. |
| The previous owner had decided it was easier to caulk around the windows than to remove them and replace the rubbers. It took a lot of scraping with a razor and sanding to smooth out the mess they'd made! |
| While I'd had big plans for The Rat, time to work on it was hard to find. Some unexpected turns of events led to a discovery that put The Rat on hold for the next year and a half. Not only did it not progress any further, but it actually REGRESSED as parts were removed and cannibalized and the car was then sold. Click "next..." below to find out what happened. |
