1. You lie, suspended. In the deep, endless void of space. A beautiful ball of water and nature entwined. Vast waterfalls cascade down through lush forests. Birds of all colours sing their chorus. Trees whisper, telling of ages gone by. Oceans lap at the sands of time. And mountains stand proud, higher than clouds. 2. You, The Mother. We, your children. Giving you nothing but overtaking with pollution, disease, destruction and hate. Every tree and stone bears spirits that we are slowly slaying. 3. The wind tastes of terror in the Middle East. The ground bleeds suffering in Africa. Acid rain burns away the trees and rocks that have lain for centuries. Rain forests in Brazil diminish. Clean air exists in deep North and frozen South. Where land lies desolate and humankind has not touched, yet. 4. Drawing out fluids from your heart in the form of Oil. Using it against you in pollution. Shoveling our toxic wastes into your earth and air. But slowly you get your own way. Killing us with nature, Like the hurricane we named Katrina. 5. We claim mountains and the moon with flags. We have no right. We don't own them. They were here eons before. 6. We are demons who infest this living hell that we bore life to. Parasites of this painful world we made. Soon you, beautiful planet, will give up on us and we will be no more. 7. The planet is wounded and weeping, because of us. Mose don't seem to care. Humanity should respect, love and care for you. When will this begin? Too late I fear. We are an embarrassment to the universe. I'm ashamed to be a human and am deeply sorry for what we've created.
